Towards the end of the conference Zoosemiotics and Animal Representations, we decided to start an email list to facilitate contact among participants. The email list will also be open to others.

David Rothenberg til konferanse om dyresemiotikk

Jeg er en av arrangørene av konferansen "Zoosemiotics and Animal Representations", som arrangeres i Tartu, Estland, 4.-8. april 2011 (hjemmeside her). Vi kan nå gå ut med at David Rothenberg blir ett av trekkplastrene.

David er bl.a. kjent for bøkene Why birds sing og Thousand mile song, en bok om hans forsøk på å spille klarinett med hvaler. I norsk sammenheng er han - ved siden av som jazzmusiker - mest kjent som Arne Næss sin biograf (Is it painful to think?) og oversetteren av Næss sitt økofilosofiske hovedverk Økologi, samfunn og livsstil.
